B|C Projects: An Innovative Way to Support Exceptional Talent
Over the past 25 years, the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts has built an extraordinary collection of artwork from past Artists-in-Residence as well as from local, regional, national and international artists. Works include all types of artistic media, ranging from prints, paintings and photography to sculpture, glass and fiber art. With such an expansive and outstanding inventory, the Bemis Center has a great deal to offer art collectors, and that’s precisely why we established B|C Projects in 2006 as a not-for-profit enterprise. Every art purchase generates significant earned revenue for the Bemis Center's Sustaining Fund, which supports our international Artist-in-Residence Program and our Community Arts and Exhibition Programs.
For these reasons, buying a painting or sculpture from B|C Projects means much more than simply acquiring a new piece of art: it means you are directly supporting the hundreds of artists who have passed through our studio doors over the past quarter of a century. It means you are actively joining us in our on-going mission to support exceptional talent.
